Sergio Rusi

Associated professor in applied geology at the “G. D'Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, he holds a degree with Dist. in Geological Sciences from the University of Bologna in 1988 and a Phd in applied geology, geomorphology and hydrogeology at the Un. of Perugia in 2000. Former technical assistant and then researcher at the geosciences Dpt. of the Chieti Un., he actually holds degree courses on both hydrogeology and applied geology. His research interests span through groundwater hydrology research in fractured and porous media, quality assessment and water protection, numerical modelling. He is author of more than 40 papers published on journals specialized in groundwater hydrology and he is responsible for research projects, as well as actively involved in PRIN programs of MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education and Research).
