Marco Follador
He holds a degree in Environmental Engineering at Bologna Un., Italy, a MSc in Geoprocessing at UFMG (Universidade Fedaral de Minais Gerais, Brasil), a PhD in Geotechnology and Georesources Engineering ("ingegneria geotecnologie e georisorse") and Geography, jointly from Bologna Un., Italy, and Université de Toulouse, France.
Former researcher in Remote Sensing and Geostatistics at Granada Un., Spain, in 2003-2004, he has been working as scientific officer (FG4) at JRC (Joint Research Centre) Climate Change Dpt. of European Commission, in 2008-2011.
Senior Consultant at Geonature and Ecology Brasil, focusing on environmental impact assessment due to extractive industry, ant at Waycarbon, focusing on adaptation to climate change.
He currently holds a post-doc position in land use and change modeling at UFMG, Brasil, and is Remote Sensing Professorat UNA (Belo Horizonte).
