Pietro Noah Crestaz
Born in 2000, he has no formal education in GIScience but a genuine feeling about geography and topology. He contributed to the cover of the textbook “ VBA/ArcObjects programming for ArcGIS 9: A learning by examples approach – From Visual Basic fundamentals to Spatial Analysis algorithms implementation ”, currently in progress after 2005 edition of the course on VBA/ArcObjects programming. Pietro Noah is the project mascotte.

and an anomalous concentration of cities
along the Adriatic coast, including Rome (the red dot).
While the sea (Atlantic Ocean)
and the fascinating Canada (the black isolated dot in the north)
give rise to some topological misunderstanding,
Sicily at the southern extreme is nothing else
than a giant fish in the world of giants.
